H E L D

 

Held is a project by Zoe and Richard Manders, exploring experiences and expressions of grief, using participatory art to rewild the clinical mechanics surrounding it. Grief feels beyond words so we will play across artforms in an attempt to articulate the ineffable. Using film, song and textiles we will explore sensory aspects of grief, investigating them as an opportunity to confront the subject on both a cerebral and physical level. We will share our discoveries as an installation for personal and collective catharsis.

Dorothy is a short documentary about a local shop keeper who died, exploring the stories told that keep us alive. It was selected to be screened at Cinecity in 2024.
